Five rules we won't break.
We've watched too many small, useful tools turn into bloated, hostile ones. This is a public commitment, written down so we can be held to it.
Software should be small.
We make four extensions, not one suite. Each does one thing. If a feature deserves to exist on its own, it ships on its own. If it doesn't, it's cut.
The browser is the right place for tools.
Files don't need to leave your machine to be converted. Web pages don't need to be uploaded to be saved. We push as much logic as we can into the browser itself.
Free is a feature.
Not freemium. Not free-trial. Not free-with-an-account. Just free. We've decided that getting paid for these is a worse outcome than the freedom to give them away.
Privacy is the default, not the upsell.
There is no analytics package, no error reporter, no "anonymized" telemetry. We don't know how many people use these extensions. We're fine with that.
We will not be acquired into adware.
If we shut these down, we'll publish the source and walk. Nobody is buying this catalogue and turning it into a coupon injector. That promise is the entire point.
