How to convert pasted HTML or Markdown to PDF
Alongside URL conversion, you can paste HTML or Markdown directly and convert it. This is the mode with no limits whatsoever — pasted content never touches a server, so there's no rate limit and nothing to proxy. Useful for a snippet of generated markup, a Markdown note, or an email you've copied out.

Worth knowing
- Pasted content has no rate limit, because it never reaches our server — only URL fetches are proxied and rate-limited.
- The output is still image-based, so text won't be selectable.
- Externally referenced images and stylesheets need to be reachable and CORS-allowed to render.
- For Markdown notes you'll keep or search later, the Convert: Anything to PDF extension produces a real text PDF instead.
Questions
Are there limits on pasted content?
No. Markdown and HTML paste have no limits at all, because that content doesn't touch our server — the rate limit applies only to URL fetches, which are proxied.
