How to import your Netflix viewing history
Rating titles by hand works but is slow. If you use Netflix, you can download your viewing history as a CSV from your Netflix account and import it — the file is read and processed inside your browser, and is not uploaded anywhere.

Steps
Download your viewing activity from Netflix
It's available in your Netflix account settings, under your profile's viewing activity, as a downloadable CSV.
Open CineMan AI's import option
In the extension.
Select the CSV
It's read and processed in your browser. The file itself is not uploaded.
Check that Taste Match has activated
With more than five titles imported, Taste Match percentages should now appear on cards.
Worth knowing
- The import is optional. Rating titles manually builds the same profile, just more slowly.
- Viewing history records what was played on the profile, which isn't always what you'd have chosen — shared profiles and half-watched things both add noise. Rating manually afterwards corrects it.
- The CSV is processed locally. Nothing about your viewing history is sent to a server during import.
Questions
Do I have to upload my Netflix history?
No — the import is optional, and even when you do use it, the file is read and processed in your browser rather than uploaded. You can build the same profile by rating titles manually.
